I honestly went without buying this for so long because I thought it would be too difficult to setup and I would get lost troubleshooting it when I ran into any issues, but I never did. This was fairly straightforward and the sync feature works really well and creates a cool sense of immersion and pretty accurate colors. I looked at several versions of this product and the value you get for the price point is perfect. Thank you for being a legitimate and working.

Instructions are messy and hard to follow. But worst part is that I bought them to sync w the TV through Apple tv and the lights do not change whatsoever with the images on tv. The only setting that works is constant on At a color you pick. There’s no way to reach support for guidance. It worked right the first time and as I reconnected it to power it never again worked. Frustrating.

Installation is easy and you can cut to size.It took some tries to get it to sync.But the colors are not accurate and the brightness is low when in sync mode. As you can see in the photo, the image was brown/yellow and the light was blue in the back of the tv.It looks nice when you just choose a single color, but those kinds of lights are a fraction of the price.

The quality of the product seemed to be great. The installation was easy and the lights looked great. Only problem was that two of the lights wasn’t working properly and also did not work the way I personally wanted so I returned them. But the value is good.

I use this hooked up to my fire stick, that I use for all my TV watching. I have a 65 inch OLED, used a RGB video on YouTube to line up the lights, and it was about 6-10 inches too long. I think the strand was about 16 feet. I double backed a few of the lights every so often to make sure they all lined up with the RGB lines on the YouTube video (pause the video to make it easy). Then I did a ambient light video and OMG, it was spot on. Love these. Make sure you wipe down the dust on the back of the TV. The strand started in the bottom right corner and goes a long the bottom before running up the side.

Cool in theory, but the product sucks. There’s 6 LEDs that are stuck on one color even if I turn the strip off, I have to physically unplug it from the wall to turn them off. It will not sync to the TV no matter what I do.EDIT: Changing to 1 star… I contacted the manufacturer as that’s what the warranty card says to do. They responded once and asked for my Amazon order number. I never heard back. I sent THREE follow up emails, no response. I finally got refunded from Amazon, then lo and behold the manufacturer emailed back and said “we see that order # _____ has been fully refunded on Amazon? Is there anything else I can help you with?” So I replied back to the email and told them that they ignored all of my previous emails and guess what - they ignored that one too!Not a good product, even worse customer service. Save yourself the headache and do not buy this.

The media could not be loaded. This is a cute for a party trick but that initial fun runs out fast when problems settle in.Pros:1. Affordable color sync option through HDMI input with no camera needed like others2. No lag from display to color syncing3. Option to change color intensity (ex. Make your pink light reflect red as it does on screen)4. Installation was easy to follow, took less than 30 minutes.5. Light functionality offered a lot of options to play with to put on a show.Cons:1. The listing is very clear an input device is needed, Apple TV, PS5, etc, so ignore complaints about that. Your input device gets plugged into the light strip hub & your HDMI goes from the hub to your TV.2. If you’re used to high quality visuals, you’ll notice a difference, not big but big enough quality degradation as your input device’s quality is compressed through light strip hub to the TV.3. You’re going to lose smart function features (at least for my Element TV) as auto source detect (switching through input devices when turned on) no longer works.4. An HDMI switch to have multiple (but at separate times) input devices funneled through light strip hub do not work.5. When TV is turned off, the strip initially turns off but shortly after, random parts of strip turn back on (pictured), so basically when you turn your TV off, it’s best to just unplug light strip hub from outlet power.6. I wiped the back of my TV clean, used force when applying & it still was inconsistent with adhering to the TV (pictured).7. The app can be glitchy (during setup, trying to turn off, detecting Bluetooth)This is for those on a budget who want to get a show & don’t mind the inconveniences of lights occasionally turning back one when the TV is off or the app stuttering & not the highest quality content. Still a good steal for the price but returned for more functionality at a higher price point.

the HDMI sync box requires HDMI signal input and output, and smart TVs do not need HDMI signal input as they have built-in TV boxes. Therefore, the synchronization box does not have the input of HDMI signal, and the built-in chip does not receive the color block on the HDMI signal, resulting in synchronization color failure.Other then that install was easy and basic colors are fun but nothing else will happen other then basic colors since it will not sync.
