Very happy with this product. I covered the hood, entire floor and 4 doors on my diesel Exursion. I then put 36 sq ft of Siless liner on the front floor boards up to the firewall. I only had enough to do 1/3 of the floor. Need to order more. This has greatly reduced the road noise on my Excursion. The liner makes all the difference as the butyl deadner really didn’t cut down on the diesel engine. Product is very sticky! You aren’t gonna pull it up to move it. However it is much easier to install than butyl floor deadner.

I have had this one my doors for about two years now and the glue is giving out already. So def a good material but needs better glue backing that last longer.

Overall, this worked well to lower the road noise in the cab of a 25 year old pickup. I used to have a problem hearing/talking on phone calls because of road noise at interstate speeds, but after installing this I'm able to hear and be heard on the phone.Benefits:- Easy to install- Super strong adhesive- Easy to cut to size- Small enough that all the dash components were still easy to reinstall- Reduced noise in the cabInstallation Tips:- Use scrap cardboard to mockup and test fit pieces- Use a box cutter or scissors to cut pieces to size- Use a box cutter to cut sections in the disposable adhesive backing. This will allow you to install it in sections, without having the entire adhesive side exposed and getting stuck where you don't want it.- After cutting sections in the adhesive backing, remove a small section in one of the corners and stick that to the vehicle. This will let you do two things, test fit the final piece, and hold it in place while you peel back the other sections of adhesive backing- Use a roller to seal the mat against the vehicle. This prevents moisture from being trapped between the mat and the vehicle, which could lead to corrosion.

Excellent product.Easy to cut n install. Noise reduction so far is reduced , need more time to fully say how much.Value is good , removal is a bit difficult in my opinion.Overall I like the looks , n easy to install.

I used this on the roof of my Chinese excavator. That thing was humming along quite well at many frequencies and needed to be attenuated. I bought this product for this purpose but quickly found out that it was not dense enough. While it did attenuate the noise by about 50%, the material is just not dense enough to get more out of it.I will say though that the glue they used is fantastic. If/when I remove it to install something different, it’ll be a chore to take it off.
