This detector works very well. I love the rechargeable battery, the waterproof features, and the accuracy. The included pinpointer wand does a great job. I only wish that the pinpointer was waterproof as well.

I have been trying different settings to meet my detecting needs. so far everything is working great.The weight of this machine is much lighter than my old machine.I have spent hours detecting an the battery life never went below half way.All the buttons are very easy to reach. I have found coins, civil war bullets and everything in between.

Haven't had it long enough for a full review. So far, it's as good as the 1500.00 units by ...Waterproof, two coils, tools, bags for the money it's a steal.

Well after many hours and days researching detectors, I bought this triple score. It comes with everything you need besides a sand scoop for beach hunting or a shovel for field hunting. I mainly used it on the beach. Unfortunately my unit is a dud. The first problem I had was the external speaker just didn't work, not a huge deal but annoying if I wanted to give my headphones a break. Next the charging should take 3-4h to be full, well my machines been charging for 15h+ and it has 1 battery bar or 1/3 full. There's no detecting for me today and that's why I am writing this review. If I want to use this machine, even with a external battery pack attached it will go dead on the beach. Yes I charged from multiple different outlets, USB adapters and it's 100% a machine error.As far as features, it has a lot of things I really like. The flashlight on the unit is great, the auto backlight display is nice. I like that it's waterproof. The menu system is pretty nice and simple to use. I never dig bottle caps with the bottle cap rejection on 1. It does find stuff, in fact I found a 1964 quarter and 1934 dime yesterday! They were about 6-8" deep in dry beach sand that was moved during some construction.I've had my machine for about 30 days. I used it every single day for multiple hours(3h-12h), read the manual many times, watched dozens of hours of youtube about settings and I still couldn't get the stability that I saw others getting. For my unit almost anything above 10 sens and the machine would go crazy, no matter what settings, mode or area I was detecting. I had ground balanced the machine, noise cancelled and changed multiple other settings that could contribute to a chatty machine. I couldn't ever get it to run smooth. Multiple other extremely experienced friends spent hours trying to make it run quiet, to no avail. Keep in mind, I even took it to a empty sand lot and it still would go nuts over 9 sens. I don't think most people will put in the amount of effort & time I have to trouble shoot / learn a machine fully. I'd say I have 200 hours on the machine at this point.I believe the machine I got was a dud, plan and simple. Other people love this machine and I can see why. My experience however was just not that great and I am going to buy a minelab machine & see what happens there. I used a friends Equinox 800 without every having used one before, it worked without all the chatty issues, I barely had to adjust anything and most importantly the battery actually charged!

Quality materials. Works very well though I'm still learning all the features as a novice. Battery life has been good. Headphones work and pair easily. Much lighter than a much older metal detector I had.
